Before You Contact Us

Booking Inquiries

Include your preferred dates, number of participants, experience level, and which guided experience interests you. This helps us respond with relevant availability and recommendations.

Response Time

During peak season (June through September), we're often in the field with limited connectivity. Expect responses within 24-48 hours. For time-sensitive requests, mention this clearly in your subject line.

Weather-Related Questions

Final trip confirmations typically happen 24-48 hours before departure once weather forecasts become reliable. Last-minute cancellations due to unsafe conditions are part of wilderness operations.

Custom Experiences

Multi-day journeys and specialized group bookings require additional planning time. Contact us at least three weeks in advance with specific requirements, and we'll develop a detailed proposal.

Common Questions

What if I need to cancel?

Cancellations made more than 7 days before departure receive full refunds. Within 7 days, deposits are forfeited unless we can fill the spot. Weather cancellations initiated by us always receive full refunds.

Are children allowed?

Most experiences are suitable for teens 14 and older with adequate fitness levels. Younger children can be accommodated on certain routes with advance discussion about capabilities and safety requirements.

What fitness level is required?

This varies significantly by experience. The tide pool discovery requires minimal fitness. The wild coast trail demands good conditioning and comfort with uneven terrain. Detailed requirements are listed on each service page.

Do you provide equipment?

We provide safety and educational equipment (field guides, emergency communications, viewing containers). Participants supply personal gear (appropriate footwear, rain protection, layered clothing). Detailed lists are sent upon booking confirmation.

Can I bring my dog?

No. Wildlife considerations and group dynamics make this impractical for guided experiences.

What about accessibility?

Most routes involve uneven terrain, elevation changes, and conditions incompatible with mobility devices. If you have specific accessibility needs, contact us to discuss what might be possible.
